Apple & Intel >
> Apple first started using Intel processors after an announcement from Steve Jobs at WWDC 2005 that the company would be breaking away from PowerPC. In January 2006, the new Intel iMac and MacBook Pro were revealed. Announcing that transition, Jobs said that “we can envision some amazing products we want to build for you, and we can’t envision how to build them with the future PowerPC roadmap.” By the end of 2022, there may well be no more Intel-powered devices in the Mac line-up.
