Recover deleted files

-

> We’ve said that when you delete something from iCloud, it’s deleted from all your devices. And that’s true, but thankfully Apple has also built in a safeguard against accidental deletions.

If you log in to iCloud.com and click on iCloud Drive, you’ll see a little icon at the bottom right of the window saying Recently Deleted. Click on that to open the Recently

Deleted folder, and you’ll see any files or folders you’ve deleted from iCloud in the last 30 days; you’ll see a label under each file or folder name telling you how long it’s got left before it’s gone forever. To bring a file back, select it and then click on Recover. You can also recover deleted contacts, calendars and bookmarks by clicking on your name and then on Account Settings.

?? ?? There’s a Recently Deleted album in iCloud Photos too, so there’s no danger of accidentally zapping a favourite family photo.
