GorillaPods are lightweight, portable, flexible tripods that can seemingly be secured to almost anything. They enable you to take photos in places that are otherwise difficult to reach.
The GorillaPod features multi-segmented ball-jointed legs that can be contorted into almost any shape. Plus, for smartphone users, there’s a GripTight head, which aims to hold your phone securely between its rubberised jaws. This MagSafe version does all that and more – by adding a MagSafe magnet to the GripTight head, you’re free to use either system with your iPhone 12 or 13, or both: MagSafe for when you need to get set up and shooting quickly, and GripTight when the shot you’re planning is more extreme.
While the GripTight for MagSafe head enables you to shoot at almost any angle, it doesn’t tilt backwards or forwards, left or right, so you will need to get the tripod legs to do that for you. The MagSafe head can be easily removed from the GorillaPod itself, turning the latter into a simple but flexible tripod for other devices like compact cameras. Rob Mead-Green
