The tiny GO Blu only weighs 26g, but it’s one of the most versatile DACs around. Its USB-C interface enables you to connect a Mac or iPad that has USB-C, and there’s a USB-A adaptor for older Macs. Most DACs need an adaptor for iPhones and iPads with Lightning connectors, but the GO Blu can work with Bluetooth for a quick connection, though you won’t get the full hi-res effect. ‘digital crown’ for volume/playback control.

There are 3.5 and 4.4mm headphone connectors and the excellent sound quality is backed up by a powerful amplifier, making it a good option for external speakers. With its built-in eight-hour rechargeable battery, the GO Blu is a terrific all-rounder.
