WATCH WITH MAC (AND YOUR OTHER DEVICES)
How the TV app makes it easy to stream shows
Until very recently, buying digital content such as blockbuster movies limited what you could do with it and what devices you could watch it on. And you could forget about converting it to make it more suitable for, or take up less space on, your phone or tablet. Thanks goodness, then, for the Apple TV app. It makes it really easy to share your purchased content and your Apple TV+ subscription (if you have one) with all your devices including family members’ ones. If you have an Apple TV, you can use it to stream your home videos from iCloud, or from your Mac via Home Sharing (which you’ll find in Settings > Users and Accounts > Home Sharing on your Apple TV and System Preferences > Sharing on your Mac). Home Sharing also works with Windows PCs. Your Apple TV and the source Mac or PC need to be logged in using the same Apple ID for this to work.
