Use Live Text

19 Live Text feels like magic and it’s available on iPhones from the XS/XR onwards. It automatically recognises text in the Photos app and Camera app. It draws a yellow frame around detected text, and you can adjust the frame by swiping or grabbing its edges. You can then use five different options: Copy Text, so you can paste it into another app; Select All, to select all text in the frame; Look Up, to search the web for the selected text; Translate, which translates languages; and Share, which sends the text to your messaging app, AirDrop or other sharing options. You can also tap directly on website addresses or phone numbers to visit them and call them respectively.
