HOW TO Trigger the Macro mode
1 Macro settings
Macro mode is triggered automatically when in close proximity to your subject. To have the option to toggle it on or off, go to Settings > Camera and swipe down to Macro Control. Tap the toggle button to turn it green.
2 The big picture
Macro photography opens up a new world of texture and detail. From a distance this vintage sign has a retro charm, but if we take a closer look we can capture more abstract textures such as peeling paint and rust.
3 Get close
Here we’ve set the iPhone to use the Wide camera. As we move the iPhone to 2cm from our subject it automatically switches to the Ultra Wide camera, and the flower-shaped Macro icon appears. Tap to snap a macro shot.
