HOW TO Customise shortcuts

-

1 Change its name

The name of a shortcut isn’t just important for identifying it, it’s how you trigger it from Siri or Spotlight. To change a name, double-click the shortcut in All Shortcuts and click anywhere in its name. Edit the name as required.

2 Change its icon

With the shortcut still open from step 1, this time click its icon. Choose a colour from the options, and then choose a symbol for its icon. Make it as easy to identify as possible from Quick Actions, the menu bar, or the Dock.

3 Work with folders

To add shortcuts to folders you’ve created, drag them from All Shortcuts onto the folder in the sidebar. Do the opposite to remove them from a folder. To change a folders icon, ≈-click on it and choose Edit Icon.
