Use the tools in macOS Photos to adjust your images in more creative ways
Both macOS and iOS Photos help you organise your shots and fix common problems with exposure and composition.
However, the macOS version of Photos has a few extra tools up its sleeve when it comes to altering images in more creative ways. The Retouch tool enables you to remove unwanted objects that can spoil a photo. You can also target and tweak the hue, brightness and saturation of individual colours for creative looks. There’s even a dedicated Black & White panel that selectively lightens or darkens greyscale tones based on the shot’s original colours, so you can draw attention to particular subjects.
