One way to make your social media profile picture really stand out is to stylise it using apps such as Photo Lab. This clever app uses machine learning to process its colour and tones to create a stylised ‘painting’ of your portrait. The app is free to use, although you can pay for an ad-free version, which is packed with plenty more creative presets. Because Photo Lab works its magic in the cloud, you will need a decent Wi-Fi connection (or lots of data allowance) to enjoy it. The free version adds a watermark, which won’t appear in the paid version.
