How to restart my Mac when it won’t run Finder?

> If you can still open Terminal, try the command reboot. If you can’t even do that, the only options involve the Power button: press ≈+⌥+⌘ and Power briefly, or press and hold ≈+⌘ and Power, or press and hold the Power button until it shuts down.

How to show the file path in a Finder window?

> Unfortunately, old tricks that used to put the full pathname at the top of the window no longer work. The Finder’s Path Bar, available from its View menu, does however show paths at the foot of the window. To add a path to Terminal’s commands, just drag the item and drop it in the command line.
