HOW TO Get the most out of the Contacts app

1 Show address on map

Navigate to the contact whose address you want to show. Hover the mouse pointer over the street address until you see the map button appear to the right of the address. Click the map button and Maps will open at the address.

2 Show birthdays

You can view birthdays in Calendar, for contacts that have dates of birth listed. Launch Calendar and go to Calendar > Preferences. Choose General, check ‘Show Birthdays calendar’, and birthdays will be marked with names.

3 Share a contact

Navigate to the contact’s card. Click the Share button at the bottom of the window and choose how you want to share it – Mail, Messages, etc. When you’ve chosen, the app will open with the contact card as an attachment.
