THE LOCK SCREEN GETS A NEW LOOK

> The Lock Screen is customisable in iOS 16. You can change the style of the date and time and include widgets inspired by the Apple Watch. This complements the new Live Activities offering, giving you real-time updates on everything from sports, to workouts and deliveries.

iOS 16 will include a new Lock Screen Gallery that will enable you to celebrate key cultural moments via its collections, including Pride and Unity. Apple is also introducing a Weather wallpaper providing live updates on conditions, and an Astronomy wallpaper with stunning views of the earth, moon and solar system.

Notifications will now roll up from the bottom of the display, meaning the new personalised Lock Screen remains clear of clutter.
