Can’t sign back into iCloud

- byRUSSELLCAPLAN

QiCloud Drive in macOS Sierra no longer syncs with my iPad. After signing out of iCloud, it states that Mac ‘can’t sign in at this time’. How can I sign in and sync properly?

AApple claims iCloud still works fine in macOS Sierra and lists requirements for its services in apple.co/3LjnHy2, but you’re better off if your Macs and devices are running the most recent macOS possible. Sometimes errors like this are temporary and the result of server problems.

Check Apple’s service status at bit.ly/ mac380systemstatus, although that doesn’t always include temporary glitches. If this is still refused after several hours without any service failure, consider restoring your Mac from its most recent backup before this occurred. Otherwise Apple Support can take you through the steps to restore your access.
