Dyson Zone

> Air pollution is a real problem, with harmful gases and particulate matter clogging up lungs in cities the world over. Dyson thinks it knows how to fix it, though, and its answer is this Zone headgear.

This quirky-looking device combines a set of headphones with an air filtration device. As well as a speaker, each earcup contains an air purifier and a miniature motor. These connect to the Zone’s magnetically attached mouth covering, which blows purified air across your face. Oh, and it also makes you look like Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.

The plan seems to be to focus the Zone on cities where pollution is a real problem, and that makes sense. Will they become the next must-have day-to-day accessory the world over? That is much less certain.
