1 Change your library

When Apple replaced iTunes with Music and TV, it kept things consistent – so the interface for TV’s settings is pretty much identical to the settings in Music. Once again we want the Files section here.

2 Set the location

And, as with Music, we’re simply changing the location of the library here. It’s a very good idea to ensure that ‘Automatically delete’ is ticked if you’re short of storage space as HD movies and TV shows can be huge.

3 Update the names

If you’ve selected Keep Media Organised in TV app’s preferences, you may be asked whether you want the folders containing shows and movies that are already in your library to be reorganised for consistency. Click Yes.
