HOW TO Use DailyArt to discover more

1 Create an account

Once you’ve downloaded DailyArt, create an account. ‘Sign in with Apple’ is an available option. This allows Favourites to be synced across devices, helpful if you save something on your iPhone and want to look at it on iPad.

2 Read all about it

Opening the app presents the day’s masterpiec­e. Scroll to read informatio­n about it. Tapping on the image brings up a full-screen version of it. Tap again to go back to the background informatio­n about the artist.

3 Open up the menu

Tap the three-line logo (top right corner on iPhone, bottom left on iPad) to bring up the full menu of options. This includes the Archive Search and Favs, as well as the option to unlock premium features for £4.99.

4 Find out more

Within Archive Search and Favourites are other options. The Artworks section reveals other pieces. The Artists and Museums sections provide info on a selection of artists and museums from around the world.

5 Make changes

To change the time you get the DailyArt notificati­on and other settings, tap to open the menu then the picture above your name. This reveals various options as well as the ability to sign out or delete your account.

6 Share your discovery

To favourite a piece so you can return to it easily later, tap the heart at the top of the masterpiec­e’s text. Tapping Share provides the option to share the artwork via various messaging and social media apps.
