2 The Elloven stand has this test beat on price alone. For just £25, you get a metal stand (in White or Anthracite) with a bamboo wood drawer for storing your various desktop items, and it’ll even accommodate a Magic Keyboard and a Magic Mouse in the main compartment. The overall fit and finish isn’t as good as others here, with noticeable gaps either side of the drawer, but that’s to be expected at this price point.
Usefully, the stand has a small opening at the rear,
enabling you to thread through cables, if you should so desire, to house devices underneath, such as a hard drive, or hub. At 47cm wide, with a depth of 26cm, and a height of 10cm, it’s one of the larger stands here, offering plenty of surface area for your iMac or display, and a decent amount of rise – if that’s what you require for your working set-up and want a good-value option.
