4 Yes, it’s expensive – more so if you opt for the Solid Walnut or Maple options at $349 (about £335). But in return you get a beautiful product. Everything is designed and handmade in-house at the company’s HQ in Portland, Oregon in the US. Materials consist of 5052 aluminium for the shelf, cork for the feet and centre brace, and a variety of American woods for the top surface.
The stand is designed for two displays, iMac or otherwise, so it’s got a pretty big footprint at 117cm wide,
23cm deep and 11.4cm in height. The rise might be a little too much for shorter people. If you only have one display, you can also use it to house your standing iPad, iPhone or other things, although Grovemade also produce a cheaper single display stand. The aluminium shelf gives you loads of room to store devices such as a full-size Magic Keyboard, iPad, and more.
