Sofa curates lists of books, TV shows, movies, podcasts, and other forms of home entertainment.

In version 3.3, lists can now have cover images, with a large title and description. The image can be pulled from Sofa’s database or from unsplash.com or a URL. Descriptions support Markdown syntax. There is a new ‘Cozy’ option for both grid and list layouts, which allows more to be fitted on screen. You can choose different sorting and layout options and these are synced with iCloud. A new Edit List Details option makes it easy to manage the details, and if you add custom items to lists, you can edit the title and cover image. Eight new themes can be purchased. Customising lists, adding sticky notes, and placing items on the Shelf, are also premium features.

Sofa is easy to use, and we like the ability to log things you have spent time on, and that the log is date stamped. We’d like to see the option to schedule a time, and to be able to share that with friends.

One criticism would be that we often found ourselves typing into the search bar to find things to add, only to realise we were searching the lists of things we’d already added.

?? ?? The curation app is easy to use, and looks really clear and organised.
