Get clearer calls

-

> Since the launch of iOS 15, FaceTime has included a feature to make your voice clearer in calls. It’s called Voice Isolation and it’s a bit hidden; when you’re in a FaceTime call, bring down Control Centre, tap Mic Mode, and then select Voice Isolation. This uses machine learning technology to analyse the audio and remove background noise to make your voice more distinct. Once you’ve turned it on it stays on for future calls.

There’s another option in FaceTime: Wide Spectrum. This does the opposite of voice isolation and actively goes out of its way to include the sounds around you. Sadly this feature isn’t available on every iPhone; you’ll need a second generation iPhone SE, iPhone XR/XS or later.

?? ?? During a FaceTime call, use Control Centre to turn on Voice Isolation and reduce background noise.
