EXPLAINED… The Pixelmator Pro interface

1 Layers tab

Select, create, hide and remove layers in this tab. Each type has an individual icon to help distinguish between them.

2 Shapes

As well as more basic shapes, there’s a range of icons to choose from under the drop down menu.

3 Style

Add colour, gradients and shadows from the Style tab, as well as control transparency.

4 Effects

Apply effects to change the look of an image, including blur, distortion and colour adjustments.
