How to transfer a track from iPhone to HomePod?

> When you’re playing a track on the iPhone, open Settings, and in General tap AirPlay & Handoff. In that screen enable Transfer to HomePod and bring the iPhone close to the top of your HomePod. That should transfer the track across.

Why does an app use battery in the background?

> When you’re not using some apps, they can sit in the background quietly refreshing their data so they’re ready when you switch to them. To stop that behaviour, open Settings, tap General then Background App Refresh. Locate the app and disable it there. The penalty is that when you next open that app it takes time to bring itself up to date.
