HOW TO Export a book from Pages

1 Export an EPUB on Mac

Launch Pages, navigate to the document and click Open. Click the File menu and choose ‘Export to’ then EPUB. Type a name and author and select from the options. Click next, select a location and click Export.

2 Export an EPUB on iPad

In Pages, tap on the document in Recents, or navigate to it and tap it. Tap the ‘…’ button and choose Export then EPUB. Choose Options and type a name and author. Tap Export. Tap Continue if the Details screen appears.

3 View your ebook

On Mac, ≈-click the EPUB file, and choose Open With then Books. On iPad, tap Share then choose Books. In both cases, the file will open in the Books app and you can read it in the same way as any other ebook.
