Smart ways to share
Shared Photos libraries have some neat features. For example, when you take a photograph with the Camera app, you can choose which library – personal or shared – to save it in. And you can also set a shared library as the default.
Even more impressively, Photos uses Bluetooth proximity to detect if anyone you share a library is close by when you’re, say, at an event, for instance. If you have the Camera app set to upload to a shared library automatically, it will only do so if it detects someone you share with is close by.
You can also choose to ’Share When at Home’, which automatically adds photos and videos from the Camera when you’re at home, even if no one you share a library with is there.
As you would expect from Apple, there is also an option to receive recommendations for photos to share.
