HOW TO Manage downloads

1 Choose your downloads

On Mac, go to Podcasts > Preferences > General and uncheck ‘Download when Saving’ to stop episodes from being downloaded when you save them. On iOS, go to Settings > Podcasts and toggle ‘Download when Saving’ to off.

2 Limit downloads on Mac

To choose how many episodes of a podcast you follow are downloaded, go to Preferences > General > Automatically Download, choose an option, then confirm that you want to delete podcast episodes outside that range.

3 Limit downloads on iOS

Tap Settings and scroll down to Podcasts. Scroll to Automatic Downloads and choose whether to allow downloads over mobile data. Tap Automatically Download, choose a number and tap Remove Downloads to confirm.
