6 There’s a lot to like about Week Calendar on both Mac and iOS (it works on Apple Watch too), including support from Reminders, the ability to create templates for recurring events and an hourly weather forecast in the Today view. It also makes it simple to find and subscribe to public calendars from within the app. And it has support for both Mac and iOS Widgets.

However, the naturallanguage input support, and weather forecasts cost extra on top of the annual subscription. The interface on the Mac version was also

poorly laid out – the ‘+’ button for adding a new event, for example, is tiny and stuck at the bottom of the screen. On the plus side, the Day view on both iOS and Mac has three options, so you can choose how to list appointments. And the Mini Month view provides an excellent overview of everything happening in a given month.
