5 If this round-up was based on looks alone, Moleskine’s Timepage would easily win hands down. Like all of Moleskine’s apps, it looks really stunning. And the good news is that this calendar app is now available on the Mac, as well as iOS.

The additional screen space on the Mac, compared with the iPhone, enables you to see the month view, timeline, and Today card next to each other. The Today card is nice and neat too, putting your appointments, tasks, the weather forecast and ‘On this Day’ info in the same window.

When it comes to adding appointments and events,

then Timepage lags behind some of the other apps here because it doesn’t support natural-language input. However, it has some good features to take away some of that pain. For example, on iPhone, you can tap and hold ‘+’ and drop it on a day to add an event. The app also remembers what you’ve typed previously and will use that to offer suggestions at the top of the keyboard.
