1 Add to Control Centre

Go to the Settings app and tap Control Centre. Scroll down until you see Quick Note under More Controls, tap the ‘+’ next to it. Tap and hold on the three lines next to Quick Note, and drag it into the position in the list you want.

2 From Control Centre

In any app, swipe down from the topright corner of the screen, tap the Quick Note icon (a note with a scribble on it). Start typing or dictating your note, or paste text, or add a photo. Tap Save to save the note when you’re done.

3 Use the Share menu

In any app that uses the Share menu, tap Share. Swipe up until you see ‘Add to New Quick Note’. Type or dictate your note then tap Save when finished. As with iPadOS and macOS, Quick Notes are stored in their own folder.
