Apple working on auto Shazam

> Future iPhones could pause music and videos when you look away, according to a new Apple patent. This would be done with the goal of saving battery life on your device. The patent also details how Apple could enable new features based on when you are paying attention, such as by activating Shazam if your devices think you are bobbing your head to music (which may be detected by AirPods).

Some iPhones already have attention-aware features, such as Face ID requiring you to look at your screen. But this patent suggests Apple is pondering how it could take the tech further. We’ll have to see if Apple ever implements it.
