1 View the Watchtower

In the sidebar, click Watchtower. This rates your passwords and shows suggestions to improve. Click Show Items next to the suggestions; click an item in the list, then follow the on-screen instructions to secure it.

2 Apple Watch unlock

First, ensure Apple Watch unlock is enabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Then click 1Password > Preferences > Security and tick the checkbox next to Apple Watch to unlock the app with your Watch.

3 More than passwords

1Password 8 can store more than just email addresses and passwords. Click New Item in the top right, then choose a category. There are options for driver’s licences, passports, medical records, payment cards, and more.
