Things to consider…
1 What type of Mac do you have?
Most M1 and M2 Macs can only drive a single external monitor, even if a dock has two display outputs. M1 Max, M1 Pro and Intel Macs can drive two or more but their abilities depend on the model.
2 Thunderbolt 3 or 4?
Thunderbolt 3, 4 and USB–C ports all look the same but the Thunderbolt 4 spec is the highest. Thunderbolt 4 docks will work with Thunderbolt 3 Macs.
3 Power Delivery (PD)
All the docks here supply power to your laptop but some at a higher wattage than others. Consider whether a dock has enough juice to keep your set-up going.
4 Future expansion
If you may need more ports in future, check that the specific model you opt for allows daisy–chaining of Thunderbolt devices.
