Free Developer Khang Le, khangle.me Platform Universal Requirements iOS 8.0 or later How high can you stack the cylinders? That’s the premise of Sky Cylinder, a deceptively challenging free app that works on Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and even Apple TV.

The graphics are bright and colorful, while the gameplay is leisurely — at least initially. The real challenge is when you tap on the pulsating white circle at the top of the stack, which determines the size of the next cylinder to fall from the sky. Misjudge how much space you need and it’s game over. On Apple Watch, Sky Cylinder is sadly a silent affair, but the graphics are no less impressive and you can keep an eye on the current time while playing.

One advantage over the iPhone app is that there are no banner ads to spoil the fun, although you’ll need to open that version if you want to accept challenges or keep tabs on where you stand against other players.
