Jams on TV Free (subscription required)

With unlimited access to over 50 million losslessquality songs and nearly 200,000 music videos, the house that rapper Jay-Z built — better known to the public as TIDAL — recently debuted its high-fidelity streaming in living rooms everywhere by adding support for Android TV and Apple TV hardware.

The tvOS app provides the same experience on a larger screen, right down to the dark theme and access to personalized favorite content. You’ll need an existing subscription, however, which costs at least $9.99 per month for standard audio quality, or twice that for High Fidelity lossless streaming.

TIDAL’s biggest challenge is convincing subscribers High Fidelity is worth the cost. Higher quality streams make less sense on a phone, but Apple TV support offers a more compelling argument.
