Black & White

We use a Black and White adjustment layer for our mono conversion — it enables you to adjust the mix of information from different color channels, lightening or darkening areas, giving you much more control over the look of your converted image than alternatives such as dropping the saturation of every channel to –100 using Hue/Saturation.
