Do Not Dis­turb is also a fea­ture of macOS and can be use­ful as it en­ables you to fo­cus on a task with­out no­ti­fi­ca­tions dis­tract­ing you by ap­pear­ing at the top right of your screen. The fast way to tog­gle it is to hold Alt and click the menu bar’s right­most icon; it will dim when Do Not Dis­turb is ac­tive. Do Not Dis­turb will stay on un­til you man­u­ally turn it off, or else un­til mid­night or the next sched­uled time to turn off (you can change these set­tings in No­ti­fi­ca­tions Pref­er­ences).
