Set up iPhone

On your iPhone, open the Health app. Tap Medical ID in the bottom bar, then Edit at the top right. You can now enter useful information such as your age, blood type, and weight, and select emergency contacts.

Show when locked

At the top of the Medical ID editing screen, make sure “Show when locked” is turned on. This means someone who finds your phone can tap Emergency to see your details. This capability is also available on Watch.

Set up Watch

Press and hold the side button on your Watch (the long one). If you have set up your Medical ID, a slider labelled as such will be shown. Someone can slide it to access your medical info on your Watch’s screen.
