How can I stop backups being made overnight?

On Macs that support Power Nap, you could turn that off in the Energy Saver pane and put your Mac to sleep, but this affects more (see bit.ly/mfpwrnp). TimeMachineEditor ( tclementdev.com) lets you specify when to suspend backups.
