Logitech Crayon

Features Tilt sensitivity (no pressure senstivity), Lightning charging port Works with iPad (2018) only
Design
Slightly shorter than Apple’s stylus, the Crayon is wide and flat like a carpenter’s pencil, with orange rubber fittings that scream ‘for kids’. It feels unbreakable and won’t roll off a desk, but the matt silver finish isn’t grippy.
Features
Charging is easy with a standard Lightning cable, but the tip cover and cap may not survive obsessive fiddlers (replacements will be available from Logitech soon). The Crayon’s biggest issue is that it only detects tilt, not taking pressure into account also.
Connection
There’s no pairing: just hold the On button for a second and it works — mostly. You can’t have a Pencil paired too. Some apps offered stylus options, others just accepted input. Resting our hand on the screen wasn’t a problem.
In use
In Paper by Fiftythree, SketchBook, and Tayasui Sketches, the Crayon was precise with fine tools and worked well with brushes. We missed pressure, but tilt was more responsive than with thePencil, partially compensating for this.
