Hey Siri, what now?
The world’s roughly third best intelligent voice assistant turns seven
The consensus on voice assistants is that Google is the smartest, Alexa has the most integrations, Samsung’s Bixby is poor, and Siri is… well… just OK. In the spring of 2018, a report by tech news site The Information suggested that a lack of vision and joined–up thinking within Apple had held it back. With the company now investing in and promoting machine learning in hardware and software, that should hopefully lead to big changes in 2019. We’re hoping for an audibly and visibly smarter Siri by the end of the year, at least.
