How to Apply Screen Time to your family

Screen Time also works with Family Sharing (see bit.ly/mffamshr). On your child’s device, go to Settings > Screen Time and set up the feature. If it’s already set up, tap a child’s name under Family.

Set some rules

Go through setup and set a Parent Passcode when prompted. Keep it private so your kid can’t override your choices. Return here to check usage and make changes. Make sure Include Website Data is switched on.

When time runs out

Your kid is playing a game and reaches your time limit. You can extend playtime by 15 minutes or override it until the end of the day. If you don’t, they’ll be unable to use that app, app category or device until tomorrow.
