Yes. This is a common scenario on Macs, enabling use of features like Handoff. In most cases, you’ll want to prioritize the wired connection. Once you’ve turned on Wi–Fi in the Network pane, click the gear, pick Set Service Order, and drag Ethernet to the top. Each connection will have its own IP address.
