> Test 3 Month view
How easy is it to read information?
BusyCal and Calendars 5 both use wall calendar–style boxes. In landscape, the entries are easily visible, and tapping and holding a box allows you to add a new entry. Informant has a similar display: tapping and holding pops up a contextual menu for adding events. WeekCal works like Informant. Tapping an entry displays a colored dialog; however, during testing we found that sometimes the dialog was partially obscured by the menu that’s at the top of the screen.
Fantastical’s month view displays in portrait mode (rotating switches to week view) with color–coded dots. However, it only occupies a third of the screen; the rest lists your entries, which scroll intelligently as you tap a day. Timepage’s month view is basic but features a color wheel that allows you to select a calendar with entries listed beneath.
