3 Belkin’s elegant BoostCharge Dual 63W GaN wall charger has a slick, precision–moulded feel to it, formed from a single piece of plastic. It has two USB–C ports which provide 60W maximum to a single laptop from the appropriately labelled port, or 50W to the laptop and 18W to the second port when two devices are connected. Helpfully, there is onboard sensing of connections so the charger knows what you’re charging and dynamically allocates power accordingly. That means you can quick–charge your iPhone, for example, up to 50% in around half an hour, then unplug it and the charger will switch the other port back to sending 60W to your laptop.

It charged our iPhone 12 fully in 1h 43 and the MacBook Pro in 2h 27m. Connecting both devices added around 25 minutes to the MacBook’s charge time, which picked up speed after the phone had charged fully. There’s also built–in overcurrent and overvoltage protection.
