$149 From Chargeasap, chargeasap.com
6 Chargeasap’s 200W Omega is a big leap in overall power and comes with a big price tag to match. A significantly different build, feeling more like a large battery, it plugs directly into the wall. Though it’s larger than the others on test, packing 200W into a charger that’s about one–third of the size of similarly powered units is impressive.
It uses “laptop–first” power management to ensure that a USB–C port will always be prioritized, even as you plug other devices in and out. Both USB–C ports can carry 100W each, and the two USB–A ports from 12W to
22.5W depending on what combo of ports are in use.
We were able to charge our MacBook Pro in just under two hours, as well as our iPhone 12 at top speed in 1h 40m — and with juice to spare, since connecting more devices doesn’t cause levels to drop by much. In fact, with four devices connected you still get 100W, 65W, 12W, and 12W. It’s a pricier option, but a powerful one.
