How to capture better quality pictures with help from Halide Mark II

- GEORGE CAIRNS

HALIDE MK II — Pro Camera is a camera app that has been redesigned to help you capture better photos. It features tools you’d find on high–end DSLR cameras, like histograms. These undulating graphs help you manually tweak exposure settings to ensure a shot is correctly exposed before you take it. You can also summon new zebra warnings that help you avoid capturing clipped (overexposed) highlights or under-exposed shadows. Halide also gives more control of selective focus of foreground or background subjects thanks to its new focus loupe. Or you can see which areas are in focus using the enhanced focus peaking tools.

One of the key benefits of Halide Mark II is its ability to shoot in Raw format. Raw shots feature more info about a scene, enabling photographers to restore missing color and detail. This gives you the chance to shoot in Raw without having to upgrade to an iPhone 12 Pro.
