Balance your budgets with Buddy

Stay out of the red and in the black with this handy iOS budgeting app

THERE’S NO SHORTAGE of budgeting apps for iOS. But Buddy aims to be different by taking something that can be dull and occasionally stressful and making it user friendly.

You start by adding your monthly income, then your unavoidable outgoings like rent, energy bills, and so on. From there, Buddy works out what you have to spend for the month. You can choose whether to budget on a weekly or monthly basis, and as you record expenditure Buddy tells you how much you’ve spent and how much is left.

If you share your rent or bills with housemates, you can split those bills in Buddy, and you can share a budget with a partner and track individual expenditure. If you manage more than just household expenses, you can create additional budgets. And all your data can be exported to CSV whenever you want. The latest version of Buddy also has a setup process that walks you through creating your first budget.
