How we tested

Each monitor was tested over USB–C on a Mac system running Big Sur. Both default and optional scaling settings were assessed, with clarity of font rendering given additional scrutiny. Along with running each panel through applications like content creation and video playback, we used a range of test images to examine contrast, viewing angles, backlight uniformity, color fidelity, and pixel response. Features and functionality, from OSD menu options to color space support and presets, were also assessed.
