Snitches and talkers get bridges and walkers

As the name implies, Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead sees walkers enter the world of overpass assembly. Instead of building rickety bridges for vehicles to make it safely across gaping chasms, you need to outsmart the living dead and build pathways that either they or your heroes cross. Familiar characters from the TV series make an appearance, including Kyra, Miles, Eugene, and more.
You can build walkways from different materials, and littered throughout the levels are various traps and snares you can use to your advantage. Each hero can be assigned a routine, telling them to interact with switches and climb ladders, for example.
It’s a neat twist on Bridge Constructor, but is it fun? The short answer is yes. Levels are creative and challenging but not impossible. Even failure feels oddly satisfying — seeing your hero get squashed by a giant spool because you forgot to add some supports to your bridge is highly amusing. Some levels are tricky and may require many attempts but none are outrageously challenging, and selecting pieces can be a little fiddly but it’s nothing a quick zoom can’t fix. Otherwise, this is a fun time–waster.
THE BOTTOM LINE. An enjoyable romp that blends bridge building and walker squashing. ALEX BLAKE
