WHERE HAVE ALL MY FILES GONE? If you used Migration Assistant or a clone they should be in the same place as before. If you’ve created more than one user account, make sure you’re logged in as the correct user. Remember cloning and Migration Assistant can only copy what’s on your Mac: anything stored in the cloud and not on your old Mac won’t be on your new one either. With some third–party cloud services there is a maximum number of devices per account. You may have to de– authorize your old Mac before you can sign in on your new one.

WHAT IF AN APP IS BLOCKED ON MY NEW MAC? Apple stopped supporting 32–bit apps in Catalina. Most big– name apps have been updated or replaced now, but for some smaller developers the effort and expense wasn’t worth it.
